what do you think of cave story?

Just curious.... I think its awesome (i havent beaten it so no spoilers please).

Not as good as Call of Duty. It doesn't even have online multiplayer!

No it's a terrible game and there is no reason why any of us should be on a Cave Story Fan Forums.

 

I'm pretty sure this thread sums up our feelings about Cave Story pretty well.

that's not the point at all

not that searching the forums is a bad idea but let's just think about this: you are on the cave story tribute site forums. Everybody who is on this forums joined because they think the game is great and want to post on a forum about it. You ask the question "hey, do you think this game is great"

it's like asking a brony if he thinks My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a good show.

My favorite part is when Toroko king and Jack bust through the wall and save you at the end it was such a surprise!


After being on Cave Story Tribute Site Forums for 6? years, I think cave story is... not bad

 

Okay but which is the worst version of Cave Story? I've only played three, and CSWii was just so glitchy and lacking too many features that I really never want to play it again. CS+ was an improvement, and it's what CSWii should have been.
The original Cave Story is divine in its perfection and I will go to war against any who slander its holy name.

I'm totally with you Fab. Every single NICALiS release I've played features a whole bunch of glitches added. CS+ stands out as one of the most polished releases, but it still doesn't border on flawlessness like the original Cave Story.

 

CS3D has to be the worst. $40 is a tad overpriced for "enhanced" graphics and minor level additions. CSWii was glitchy, but I appreciate the visuals much more (and it cost much less...). I'm sure CS+ would be my favorite if I owned it.
