holy crap this game is harder than it looked when nerdcubed played it

my best score after 45 minutes of playing is 9. NINE. How you people are getting friggin 600 is beyond me.

Ugh, tell me about it. My highest score is still 64. Which is about 0.04% of the highest score on this thread.

At least I'm mostly playing for fun, since I don't really need Arbitrary Points. I'm sure the game becomes really unfun if you're playing for score...

To be fair guys, if you can make it to one hundred you can make it to one thousand. It never actually gets any harder the further you progress, so it just pertains to how you deal with certain situations when they arise. That's why I like having a minimal amount of weapons to work with, there are far fewer scenarios that you have to think of happening. I was so damn nervous when I got around five hundred, and that's where it was the hardest. I was so shaky that it was hard for me to play. After seven hundred, I became less nervous since I passed the highest score. The rest was very easy, I felt invincible.

I want to say two and a half or three hours, I wasn't really keeping track of time. It went by so fast after the one thousand mark.

You deserve some mad props for your effort.

However.
The reward for having the highest score is going to go to me.
Sadly I wasn't able to return the favor and triple your score. But, this should be good enough.

I really wasn't expecting that, good job.
I don't know if Noxid is going to count the score since it's past two weeks and I think that's the deadline, but damn you deserve to win if you got that high. Just one thing Meta, you were 5 friggin points from the Top 10 list on supercratebox.com, what the Hell.

I didn't declare the deadline so I'll still count it, that score is both sick and nasty and it would be a sin to discredit it

But now jeez I gotta pick a new game
Alright, the next challenge is...

HYPER PRINCESS PITCH

The latest action-packed, bullet-tastic runshooty from everyone's favourite Remar, Hyper Princess Pitch puts you as a princess on a mission to stop the good Mecha Santa from spreading happiness and cheer to all the good girls and boys.
Gameplay is based on an old DOS game called "Operation: Carnage". The gameplay is fast and it's kind of bullet/mob hell but there are a variety of difficulty settings so pick whatever level you're comfortable with and get blasting elves!
Score is just based on score. Harder difficulty gets more points so skill is rewarded.

When you use cheat codes you won't even get any points for anything and therefore you'll have no score.

I turned up the difficulty

This game isn't fun when I turn up the difficulty

Scoring is mostly linear though. I GO'd on the final stage of War Queen here, which was more than enough to clearly beat out the potential of Battle Princess. Playing on Goddess of Explosions is probably needed to get more than ~650,000.
