Some discussion, but what are you guys looking forward to, now that Smash Bros 4 3DS is looming over us and we've seen what it has to offer? Personally going to love Smash Run and main as someone like Lucario, Villager, or Toon Link.

Also I guess I could play as Mega Man because he's Mega Man but 3ds controls suck for Mega Man so I will continue to have no main. Ness is my favorite smash character though, so that's something.

I haven't even touched my 3ds in a while until i heard about smash 4
also i suck ass at villager how do i even

 

After I tried Villager out in the demo, I decided that he's my least favorite character. I'm not really fond of the moveset it's a little demanding. Obviously if you're good as him than you're cheating and I win by default

 

Mega man's for nerds I'll steal your sawblades any day

Also it is extremely satisfying to 1) store fairy bottles and 2) throw them off the edge

 

Mega Man's Metal Blades are hilariously useless. Metal Blades were the most overpowered weapon ever in Mega Man 2, and I used them about a total of 2 times while playing Smash demo, and most of them missed. I played as Mega Man pretty much ever time. Also leaf shield is useless but maybe it'll be good eventually who knows

I guess I'd say that I'm looking forward to Smash Run n' stuff, but I can't wait to play as some of the new characters not included in the demo, like Robin.

(Also for those who haven't heard, I have both Pokémon Y and KI: U)

 

Oh shit, I am very ready to play as Robin too, forgot to mention. Playing through Fire Emblem Awakening right now and god damn that game is fucking amazing. But yeah, the whole thing with him being able to use his tomes and sword is really cool sounding and fits his character considering that's similar to how he actually was in Fire Emblem Awakening.

I thought so too until I realized two things:

Metal Blade can be aimed in all 8 directions.

You can grab enemies, and pick up and use items while the Leaf Shield is active.

The Metal Blade can also be thrown down to the ground, picked up, and then you can activate the Leaf Shield, and throw it while it's active.

It's more effective then you'd think.

Plus, Megaman is great at keeping enemies on their toes. While they may not do particularly heavy damage, having to deal with projectiles whilst also doing with you is a great way to get into the prime position to smash an enemy. Or use Megaman's powerful air attacks, if they avoid your attacks with jumping.

One of the things I'm hyped about when it comes to Robin is his Final Smash. Unless I'm misremembering terribly, it involves Chrom and a critical hit, complete with the bar that flashes by showing only Chrom's eyes. I mean, CRITICAL.

 

They would reference Fire Emblem Awakening to the point of using the same critical hit animation? My hype has increased and I'm not even going to look that up I'm just going to see it for myself that sounds amazing.
also i'll be disappointed if they don't say "Time to tip the scales" and "YOUR END HAS COME"
