Any theories on why?
Blue is the universal color for good or neutrality?
Limited color selection in NpcReg.pbm?
Pixel is colorblind (that would explain the green hair...)?

Curly and Quote's eyes are blue because of how white their skin is. Note that Curly has blonde hair. I guess Pixel wanted Aryan heroes. Is he a Nazi? Were the Mimiga only saved from genocide because his beta testers wanted a non-racist ending?

As for Sue, her Mimiga and human facepics have black eyes. Blue is probably used in the sprite to set her eyes apart from her eyelashes, and because her sweater is already blue. Saving on colour and all that.
