Silmar is a cool turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler by Jeff Mather. It's only got one setting, though, and that is Super Evil Hard. I still haven't gotten through the first HALF of the game which is available without registering, but that's worth a lot of free gameplay hours. It's for Java and is multi-platform so try it out sometime.

I consider Gish to be a classic physics game and it's one of my favorite games of all time. It's got an awesome, unique main character and once you get a handle on the controls he can pull of some truly epic stunts. It's available on Steam or from this website:

EDIT: There's also a built-in level editor and community-made levels. I made so much stuff with it...

My bad I hadn't thought to search for this thread, I usually only do that if I'm looking for tech support/issues.

Also I forgot to mention The Conduit for Wii.
It's a shooter game that uses the Wiimote and the Nunchuk controller but the aiming works INCREDIBLY well, in fact I was starting to prefer it over a normal controller or even a mouse. You can calibrate the controls to feel real nice, such as how close to the edge of the screen you point to turn the view and how fast it turns. It's a shame the game is so short and I never got to try the sequel and I don't have a Wii anymore. ;-;

EDIT: fixed stuff -__-

How is star fox 64 underrated
It sold like 300 thousand copies in the first week, and got high ratings from its reviews
Hell, it even has a 3DS remake

For underrated games I would say Shining Force, Vectorman 1 and 2, and Ristar, all on Sega Genesis. I very highly recommend playing these games

Singularity was great and it is similar to Bioshock. Spec Ops: The Line was fun.

Oriental Blue:Ao no Tengai seems to be written off by fans of the Tengai series(read:also the only ones who know this game exists) according to the few reviews I've seen, because it's not connected to the other games in the series and it lacks the silly humor of the other games, being a bit more serious. The thing is, though, if it's taken on its own (as I am), the game is simply awesome! It's a fine RPG with interesting mechanics and story. Even if you haven't played anything from the Tengai series, I'd totally recommend it. :mahin:
