Not as easy as Cave Story

Tch, if you think the first area is tough, you probably need to brush up on your platforming skills if you're going to beat this :p
I'd say the mod overall is pretty hard, but perseverance always gets you through.
I bet you were like "Oh god, Sacred Grounds is IMPOSSIBLE!!" the first time through, but now people can get around 3 minutes on a minimal item run.
If they can do that, there's no reason you can't beat this :D;

It looks like the next demo will be coming later than I first though but that's okay. It's gonna be amazing!

I played through WTF Story too, but had to consult the Youtube walkthrough. I do not think it is much cheating.

Is it cheating when you mod a mod to insert a life-capsule with maximum health possible? I did that sometimes:)

WTF Story was maybe a little harder then I like, but it was cool! Loved it`s music too

I played this for a bit, and wow, its looking awesome, though i got killed in the memory bank place >_> and then i couldnt be bothered looking for all the chests again, might try it again later, but good job

I seem to have found a small glitch.



I got the small key, apparently triggering the robot to self-destruct... and when I went to receive the Life Charm from him, he had an impenetrable force-field around him.

Well that is until I went off screen and come back. :)

It's actually already been fixed, due to the fact that I removed the bit of gameplay that caused it.

The blue robot only appears every 3rd vertical loop of the map. I made it so he stays each time now though, since it fixes that glitch and it's a bit mean to the player.

I was wondering when someone might stumble upon that....

I read the new entry on your developement page. It looks a bit like you're getting close to finishing. Have you finished with all your assembling and just need to finish all the maps and scripts or do you still have a long time before your finished?

Either way, I'm very excited about it.

I have one last bit of assembling that needs to be done before it will be released (plus I got to finish that map). It is my intention to make a custom boss, not an edit either since I find working around pre-existing entity code is quite difficult, and actually extends the amount the effort I would have to put into making an entity (at least now, it seems that way).

Ever since I made the portals/portal gun, I've developed a basic understanding of how npc code works, so creating npc's from scratch isn't TOO hard.

Oh and also I finished making Secret mission 4, which is the room with the "proximity spikes" (are only visible if you are close enough). It's a bit tough D: but it'd do-able.

Also I still plan to redo the maps for WTF-Easy before I release v 0.4, so that might slow down v 0.4's release a bit.

I recommend you the Youtube walkthrough.
I played the whole WTF Story demo through, it`s a great mod, it will be challenging the whole time, so I think the above solution is the best for you for all present and future difficulties.

Okay, this is late because I tried the mod last month, but it was awesome. What little I got past. Because my jumping skillzors are not 1337 enough to maneuver the jumping puzzle. I'll get it eventually.

Anywho, good music so far. I wonder what's going on with... everything, but that's why it's called WTF Story. I will nevar find out because of lack of 1337ness, but I refuse to play the easy version because that's for weenies.

Also, everyone in this thread must admit they mainly checked it out because of the Tetris part.

Also, I hate to be a spoil-sport, but... Where's Quote's glasses in that otherwise great drawing?
