Why is Kanpachi named Kanpachi?

Kanpachi is the japanese word for Greater amberjack, a fish.
Kanpachi the mimiga fishes.
So obviously Kanpachi was named after a species of fish.

Nooooo... he obviously telepathically communicates with whoever he is with. The "..." is just him concentrating into the minds of others!
Lol.

He communicates by making quotes.

yes.

No you silly, she's called curly brace because this is a curly brace:

{

and she watches after the Colons

:

and is partners with Quote

'

they're all punctuation, that's why they're called what they're called. Mystery fucking solved, B+ for effort.

He doesn't have a surname, you were reading fanfiction. "Quote marks" is not the name of any punctuation unless you are dumb.
Quotes, curly braces and colons are all commonly used in C++, which Pixel used to make Cave Story (I'm pretty sure). What's that, you say colons aren't that common? Well the Colons are only children, which makes them semi-colons. Boom, lawyered.

Edit: curly braces are used in C++... right?

Qoutes "" are used in programming languages to mark out strings for example "hi" is a string while hi is varible
Curly braces (or brackets) {} are used to mark out "classes" for example:
Code:
class example{
some code here
}
is a class.
maybe that why Monster X attacked Quote (cats like string)
Edit:Spelling fixes

The feline has a point! and I'd edit my avatar for the occasion, if I was at a computer!

Still, though, I think it's pronounced "QWOP."

EDIT: I think EVERY game should have running/walking physics like that one.
