I play video games for entertainment. Cave Story is a video game, and it's possible for me to play it for entertainment.
So why not?

I always vaguely remembered a little I used to play when I was ten, but I couldn't remember its name or any details about it.
Stumbled upon Cave Story some months ago, and lo and behold, it was the game I had played and couldn't remember.
Played it again, and here I am.

Got the Wiiware demo who knows how long ago in an attempt to have fun while being broke
Didn't really click for me the first time but my brother was obsessed and the one who actually bought the Switch version
Five months later I try out CS+ myself in another attempt to have fun while being broke
As you can see, it worked

Cave Story is a really unique game in that its mechanics are pretty simple, but the way they work together creates really engaging, spontaneous gameplay scenarios that are really energetic and fun. It's got charming music, it's got likable characters, it's got great graphics...
And the fact it was all made by one guy continues to astound me to this day.

It's kept me enthralled for over a decade.

Got the WiiWare demo, liked it, promptly forgot about it for 6-odd years, found it again last year and have adored it ever since.

It's a pretty flawless game.

Sounds similar to my Cave origin Story.

Or, have I said that already?
