Why didn't I get the original Last Cave and I got the hidden

Please help me, I got all the requirements for just the Last Cave, but I got the Last Cave hidden. I did the requirements like save Curly, get the Booster 2.0 and etc. I don't know why I didn't get it so please help.

 

Did you talk to curly twice? If you don't have the iron bond, it won't work.

The difference is that the layout is different and one is very terrible.

I thought it had to do with whether or not you had the booster
because you can't complete the hidden cave w/o it

 

If you save Curly, and have the booster v2.0, I think you get the hidden version regardless of if you have the iron bond or not. (I found this out the hard way when I forgot to talk to Curly to get the Iron Bond)

I think you need the iron bond to get to the hell level, which is required for the best ending.

 

 

Translation for those who don't understand tsc:
The only deciding factor as to which cave you get is the presence of the Booster 2.0 (not the 0.8) or lack thereof in your inventory. Nothing else.
