Why did the doctor only have female mimiga in the throne room

It just occured to me that mimiga village has only male mimiga (Mahin even commented on this) and all the throne room's mimiga (excluding Santa) are female. So why the gender difference?

 

Eh, the prisoned Mimigas' genders are meant to be ambiguous based on their appearance, compared to Chie and Chako's, as they were there too.

Actually Mahin commented that there was only one female (that being Sue) left in Mimiga Village after Toroko was kidnapped.

I didn't take the time to note the gender of each mimiga. I'm pretty sure there isn't any pronounced sexual dimorphism anyway. (Doesn't Chaco just wear makeup?) So, it's not necessarily true that the throne room is filled only with female mimiga; it could be any combination of genders.
