Which form of Ballos is hardest for you.

For me the the second form is hardest. Shooting his eyes can get pretty hard, especially when hes jumping.And the 16 damage
smashing attack is plain out annoying.
His third and final aren't that hard if you know what your doing.

 

Honestly all of them are equally easy, except the fourth one, which is super easy. All you have to do is stand in his eye and fire missiles into his socket.

 

Whenever I verse Ballos, I never usually take damage on the first or second forms (I think of the second as the easiest). The third form I occasionally slip up on, but it's more of a challenge to take him out quickly. The fourth form is the hardest not to take damage on because of the Butes that Ballos spawns.

 

Ballos really isn't that hard, but the trip to him is what gets me every time.

 

It really depends for me, but I think the third phase is the worse/hardest for me, mainly when trying to get all the eyes in 1 or 2 cycles for a speed run through hell. Other then that, the fourth form in the Plus version is the worst since they fixed Ballos' eye rotation so you can get hit while hiding right next to his eye.

Stand in his eye and mass fire super missiles. He'll be done in no time.

He jumps constantly two times and then stay on land for a while, and then he repeats that.

I still haven't learned how to do the final form properly without the eye trick

 

I picked the fourth because if you can't use the spike trick then you're gonna have a bad time with those eyeballs bouncing around.
The other ones are way more scripted so it's easier to learn the pattern.

The second form is hard as it is hard to shoot him right in the eye when jumping and it'll damagee you likely if you boost up to his eye.

Same here.
The third form is the most predictable, and the skulls fall pretty slow. The eyes don't have a lot of hp, one or two well placed spur shots can take a few out easily.

 

I'm surprised D: I'm the only one who voted for the first form as being the hardest?
He moves quick and you have to make sure you quickly get out of the way from his charge and shockwave...
And if you take too long he starts sending those lightning bolts...

He's ruthless!

Part 2, he's annoying, shaking the screen while you're hurtling all over the place, dodging him... But he has no attacks fortunately, just shockwaves and if you manage to get stomped on... [Only ONCE... I was actually disappointed you don't die instantly from that lol. I mean he looks like Father Press]

Part 3, this one's just about timing. He does extrodinary damage if you mess up, but it's pretty safe if you know where to move.

(Part 2 and 3, you can refill on hearts if you need to. Just shoot up like crazy.)

Part 4, can be rough because you might have no health at this point. But as long as you don't get overwhelmed by all the stuff going on, it's pretty easy... probably

...It'd be interesting to see a mod that plays Ballos' battle backwards... lol
