This is one thing I've been thinking about for a while, sure if you leave WITH Kazuma, him and Quote just live in the mountains like it says in the game, but where does he go after leaving while you're in the plantation?

In the second ending, you DO see Kazuma again, saving you and Sue from falling to a probable death. In the third ending, it's safe to assume he does the same thing to Sue only.
After escaping from the island, Kazuma landed nearby, finding himself unable to completely give up on the others. -It's hopeless, but can I really leave everyone behind...?-
While crying a little inside and hugging the hungry looking dragon...
He noticed something.
The island was crumbling... and there... something brightly red caught his eyes.
Both the Dragon and Kazuma had to squint very, very hard.
OH MY GOD! THATS SUE! AND THE KID!
And off the hungry dragon shot like lightning, -thinking it had found new prey...-
Faster, faster! -FOOOD!-
And, Kazuma saves the day, incredibly relieved at his fortune. Both the kid and Sue were back in one piece.
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes..."
*tap tap*
The kid then points to where Sue was being carried by the dragon.
... Sue was nowhere to be seen...
and the dragon was happily licking its chops...
Uhhhhhh
Maybe Momorin and Itoh were able to get a message to Kazuma using some kind of radio on the helicopter? It may be wilderness, but Kazuma should have a great view of the land from the dragon. If anyone is living in that remote area, perhaps there was equipment.
Or maybe even the mountain area was nearby, the place it says he'd go. Perhaps that location was chosen because he KNEW there was a place already there?
Or maybe it was blind luck... Emphasis on blind...
Okay guys seriously though, he just took off when it became clear that Quote wasn't coming back, and then had a change of heart midway through his flight.
Great thread.
Just wanted to provide one serious answer.
Uhhh...no idea. Gotta go with captainfabulous's answer though. Or maybe he somehow saw what was going on with the island and knew that they might die, so he swooped in and saved them.
