I figured that he wears glasses because he needs to wear glasses to correct his vision. You know, like Megane.

In any case, I don't see why it needs to be explained why he has them. Some things are best left up to the viewer and their assumptions.

Megane is literally Japanese for glasses, which is weird. Also, because they are coloured, I thought maybe Megane's glasses were to help with dyslexia.

glasses don't help with dyslexia. they help the sensory part of vision, not how the brain interprets sensory signals. Also Jack doesn't wear glasses, he's wearing goggles
