The last post in this thread is over 60 days old. Posting in this thread will be considered a bump, so please make an attempt to be courteous if you go ahead with it.
If the last post is over 6 months old, it may instead be a better idea to start a new topic. If you aren't sure about what to do, feel free to ask a staff member for help, or try to locate a 'general questions'-type thread if it exists in this (sub-)forum.
DualHack has had his posting priviledges revoked for 24h and for the next 7 days they will require a moderator to approve their posts before they will appear. This is due to a combination of spammy posting, bumping a years-old thread, and general lack of maturity.
And possibly also because I wanted to see how these features work in the new system. It might provide a viable alternative to outright banning in some cases.
hate9 Shane has received a week's 10-day suspension from posting for bumping the shit out of things
Lord Shadow has received the same, for responding to thread bumps, increasing the drama in an already fiery thread and because I'm afraid tensions are going to boil over soon if the level of aggravation isn't eased
Kanpa(t)chi is receiving a 10-day reprive from posting for continuing to make threads that are both unnecessary and already in existence, after having it explained that it is not acceptable to do so, as well as having generally low-content posts elsewhere.
Lord Shadow has had his site membership revoked due to continual use of words that aren't real and generally exhibiting very strange but nonetheless inappropriate and unwanted attention-seeking behaviour
Dunc2403 has received another suspension, this time for 5 days, for continuing to post for the sake of posting despite being told over and over again to stop it
I made a sweet new avatar to give our banned members so people can identify them better
but then I realized I can't change people's avatars anymore, just remove them
so I gave it to myself instead
Shane is having his posting frozen for six months because a pastry told me to do it
and also because his presence has been extremely wearying since the day he joined, and rapid improvement does not seem likely. Hopefully some mandatory lurking will give him enough time to figure out this whole "internet" thing.
Hate9 has received his second ban for bumping a 4-year-old thread for a mod that never existed and never will, despite receiving *numerous* warnings by myself not to necrobump, and even with that big red banner at the top of every old topic.
We of the CSTSF do not support necrophilia
Toxicman will have all his posts placed under moderator preview for (up to) a week, to see if there's any hope of him learning anything. We haven't tried this out yet to my knowledge so this is as good a chance as any.
