Here it is. It is a very short demo and only shows the new boss. You may use the Clover boss in a mod you're making if
you give credit. Have fun!

 

Why didn't you just post this with the original post 'Toroko's Dream'? This makes it kind of confusing to find.

Anyway, I'll play later when I have the time.

The tile shouldn't be like that. The house is behind her but the grass on top of the house is in front of her.

Victory music plays when you load the game.

I like the new background and layout for Clover, but I don't think the player should get the Booster (or at least be able to equip it) until after the fight. The boss is way too easy with it.

 

If you don't want to have all that type of grass in the background, you can make a copy of it somewhere on the grasstown tileset and change the tile association so that you have both.

 

Wow. I actually really liked the background in the boss room. Makes me really curious for a mod set in the Cave Story universe, but somewhere on the surface. All technologically advanced and sci fi and stuff. Did you get it from somewhere or did you make it?

Anyway, as much as it's pretty much a reskin at this point, it's still nice. I liked the opening.

This mod has potential!
My complaints are the random sound effects(get item in beginning), and transitions take about 4-5 seconds.
Did you do the future city in the GUM area? It looks amazing!

 

hey I like you background for the battle with clover and clovers script.
I though when I was about to battle clover "ppfft this is gona be a easy boss to beat its a noob boss" then it transformed and I thought again "oh crud" and failed but over all very good has potential and can't wait to see the next demo version or full complete.

It's like exactly the same except with Booster? So in theory it should be easier.
