Users should be able to search for threads on the forums with a little search bar at the top of the page, right under the selecty thingy that you can choose Tribute Site, User CP, FAQ ect.

I thought he meant he didn't like the pop-up search bar. He wants a static one.

Right under? Isn't that a little intrusive? It would take marginally longer to scroll down the page.
Personally I find vBulletin's search to be extremely bad at finding the threads I want, so I just use google advanced search.

Now we just need a PHP god to come around and implement something.

Oh lol. Sorry, you can now either close the thread or let everyone look at my stupidity. I like the 2nd choice the best personally.
