this is my first ever Topless Tuesday post.
I am fully expecting to lose some followers for this…
The reason I chose to participate today was mostly due to the inspiration of my friend Jacob Xanth - he has made me and so many other feel better about our bodies, and also eating disorder or whatever. he’s awesome.
i love my body, i am proud of my body and what it can do. i am happy with the way i look. the other day i stepped on the scale and saw the beautiful numbers 100.0 - a weight I’ve been trying to reach for the past three or so years. my final weight goal is 110, so I can donate blood to the Red Cross. (edited because i had to factcheck)
there's also the fact that if i had been born biologically female, i couldn't post a topless photo of myself without everyone having a titty attack. i would feel hesitant, and have the need to write two paragraphs explaining my decision because tits are a big fucking deal guys. i would be wondering if future employers are going to find this and judge my 19-year-old self.
because yes, i am 19 years old. my body is mine. the government, my parents, my friends, and society all may try to tell me what to do with it, but i know in my heart that it is mine and i can do to and with it what I choose.
So today I am posting a topless photo in a public place on the Internet.
But you can see less than you would if I was wearing a swimsuit - if you’ve walked past an advertisement or seen the cover of a magazine today, you’ve probably seen more skin than I am showing in that photo up there.
Also, it’s still TMI Tuesday, and my ask is always open for any sort of comment or question you might have for me!!
