I wasn't sure what to think of this mod going in, but this was really well made. The art could use some work, but from what I played, I can tell you spent a lot of time perfecting it. I want to see the rest of this!
I have finally made a playable version of my Cave Story mod: The KingDinner Chronicles!
Two years of development, and it it is around 20 minutes of game play. But I'm proud of it.
Make sure you comment any bugs or honorable mentions.

Ok! 0.0.2.7 Known Bugs:
*Castle City borders undefined. Don't fly above the screen, nothing happens. *Layering is off. Characters walk behind doors.
*Castle city sign in courtyard isn't <TUR *KingDinner's sword =Despian= is refered to as "Draw Sword" when you get it
*YAMAHARU IS BROKEN. Don't talk to him if you have the =Gold Chalice=. *Female Asahikan walking animation is broken.
After EWS fight, gold pile says wrong script
I've fixed all of these. (other than the one in the Spoiler)
Before starting, I would like to say to tone down the color of king flesh.

I like the design of this mimiga or dog
or whatever.
And that pretty much it, I don't have a lot to say, this seem very early
and the fact that this is 2 years old of developpement give me this little tittle feeling.
My mod started out as a remake of Cave Story, excluding the fact you play as KingDinner and some of the characters were swapped around. I.e Megusha (the dog) was Sue and Rava (he won't be in this mod) was her boyfriend (actually was Kasuma).
I developed the game for about a year and later tired of it. So I decided to make The KingDinner Chronicles from the ashes of this mod.
I still have my original mod in my "To the depths of Hell" folder. It was fun, and actually pretty funny.
Then I made KingDinner Chronicles for a while and then just started making ORG tracks. It was another 5 months until I touched the mod again.
Also, yes. It is NO WHERE near completion. It will have 5 different endings, plus a Ikachan Mini-game. More levels...etc
Finally, this mod is the story line of my comic series "The KingDinner Chronicles." So that's why nothing is the same.
If you want some backstory, look at the pictures in Castle Draw Main Corridor. They will tell you about stuff like how Megusha is (pretty much) KingDinner's Mom. He is adopted.
Yeah. I'll tone down KingDinner's sprite. On my computer, it looks.... the opposite of vibrant. Crappy 2009 display. On other devises, it may look like cancer.

I think. It has a weird reflection property, and if I don't hold it in the right position, it freezes and freaks out.

Eh. Yeah. They weren't going to be royal in the first place.
They are actually a flag. If you have them and do some other stupid things, you can get the =Lovely Ending=!
That and it's just fun for the protagonist to do evil things like pantie raids.
Added "The Forest of Intricacy", and "Forest Ruins."

Fixed Sprites. They look less, flashy, and dead.
Sorry. Once I posted the game, I found 8 er 9 different glitches and cheap mistakes...
Asahikan Girl sprite is a pixel off and looks bad when she walks, characters walk behind doors, the weird fact that I forgot to fix the courtyard
etc etc...
I wonder. Should I post Version 0.0.5.4 soon? I have coded in like 2 more bosses and a dozen or so rooms, but I haven't gotten to the next part I wanted to...
