The current setup doesn't really seem to differentiate between the different channels much. It just seems like we have 3 different #doukutsus.

The only real difference is the moderation. (sometimes)
Now I have to be in all 3 to talk to everyone.

And not many of us are complaining about it.
It seems as if a slight change to #doukutsu could make the last option possible, like I said before, and, after "Keep it the way it is," "two channels" option is rater popular.
Instead of adding other channels to the list, we should just make alterations to the ones we have.
Now, I am not saying I will drop #curlybrace, nor will I make any changes to it, but it looks to me as if people are comfortable with the way things are now.

But, as was already made clear, we can not and will not count any of DragonBoots' channels.
They have no affiliation with these forums in any way, they just happen to have some Miraigamer users there.

No amount of polls, recommendations, proofs, or opinions will convince me to make any change to my channel* in any way at all.

*(deleting, change of moderation/rules, etc.)

You created #CurlyBrace in the first place to make sure people don't fill up the chat with flamewars. Well, do you also want them to fill up the chat with modding talk? If not, just say that #Doukutsu is the modding channel. There's nothing ZarroTsu can do about that if we just follow that rule. THEN EVERYONE IS HAPPIER.

I don't blame you for thinking that, but obviously you aren't looking any deeper than "Cultr1 won't change his channel, and he likes it the way it is now, so he must be doing it for himself, making him a selfish, stubborn dickhead."

The reason I said that is because most people are happy with the way things are now in #curlybrace. I'm not being a stubborn dickhead for my own benefit, I'm being a stubborn dickhead for the benefit of the people who log on to #curlybrace each night and have fun talking with no topic and the current moderation for hours on end, and are happy to do so.

Which includes me.

We can use #Doukutsu for modding (because more modders hang out there and we don't want to intimidate the squishy minds of #CulryBracers) and use #CurlyBrace for general discussion (which never involves Cave Story).

The only thing I want to change about #curlybrace is ask modders to talk about modding in #Doukutsu. If you REALLY want to hear us talking about offsets and tiles, THEN WE WILL. I just thought it would be NICE.

As long as it's not flaming, trolling, yelling or spam. Why not add modding to the list?

What's so wrong about modding lol? The only people that talk about it are Noxid and GIR, but sure I guess you could make a rule to kick everyone who says "offset" and call it the O word. As I had predicted in the first page, no change is going to be made lol. Or change that is useless.

 

Nothing's wrong with modding. I talk about it in #CurlyBrace quite often, but if WD's the only person who has a problem with that, I guess she's screwed.
