I was busy with shit and haven't been coming here much until about a month ago but if the Lavacat shit isn't already up as the "Best" thread then that one

Also did CarrotLord ragequit this year, or is that something I missed last year? Either way, best rage quit on the account of he was an active and participating member of the community (and fucking credited in the thankyous of the Nicalis Cave Story release as I only very recently learned) and then he was gone all of a sudden.

Carrotlord did have a fiasco, and it did cause him to leave, but it hardly qualifies as a ragequit. That thread I linked to resulted in a 60-day ban for Carrotlord. After that he came back, and then left with hardly saying a word to anyone. We haven't seen him since.

Oh wow. I didn't know about this. (mainly because this was just over a month before I joined)

That really sums it all up.

It makes me not feel so bad about my behavior. (I'm not taking that to heart, but still)

 

Is it sad to say that I've known about this long before I became a member here?

Even though the "rage" and "quit" elements lack contemporaneity, I 130% nominate this for the ragequit of the year even though the rage and quit happened at different times in a non-standard manner. Those posts of his in that thread are pure, unadulterated vitriol and bordering on delusional.

Reminder: Come new years, nominations will be accepted on a case by case basis. This meaning that at least three councillors must accept it and also I need to be not lazy
