Update what? And why?

Invisible hell is.... I could do it easily but I don't think I should just steal someone else's idea and add it in mine.

I also had the idea of adding other areas to customize... Like final cave specifically.


But then again all the time I put into this is time taken away from my other projects...
(Plural, I have another side project aside from C-Tale and this)

That's one of them... Here how about I create a list:

Cavern Tale [MAIN PROJECT]- More than halfway done with part 2 (there are 4 planned parts)

Sanctuary Customizer [MINI PROJECT]- Completed... Unless there was something to add.

D.E.A.T.H. [MINI PROJECT]- currently a few test rooms (initial release is unknown)

Unnamed collab with Bombchu - to be started in the near future.

Dimensional Eradicative Acumulation of the Three Heroes...
I literally spent 2 minutes stringing together random words to make that acronym.

Don't expect anything special or even it being released anytime soon. It's just random ideas and tests I think of and throw together into one mod package, kind of like how Hayden has that "vertical test" he did, except that it will be multiple different little things I come up with and thought they look cool.


This is of course when I do have those idea's, it's a low priority mod.

A very good game, I had fun going through, and even though it is very simple, its still fun to challenge myself to this every time. :toroko2: I liked the no-booster mode, and the V 0.8 mode was extremely hard, but I had fun. Nice game, 8/10

Hey, sorry for posting after 4 years, but did you think of using the empty spots for the 290 Counter and Life Pot?

It is supposed to have endless customization, like booster 0.8, skipping to Ballos, unlimited missles and no booster mode.

I'm guessing you were trying to avoid necrobumping, but it's a weird case since I'm still active here and an actual discussion sorta started, with a valid question that I'm about to give a detailed response, with the outlook of a future update on the horizon.

IDK, personally it feels weird having all the posts moved over here with lack of context, though I respect the avoidance of bumping an old 2013 thread.


Hey, sorry for posting after 4 years, but did you think of using the empty spots for the 290 Counter and Life Pot?
I decided to force both in the inventory because there was no real reason to have the option to turn them off:
- The timer merely adds that hud element which is a central part of why people replay the sanctuary in the first place. It doesn't affect everything.
- You can choose not to use the life-pot. I thought it was more sufficient than disabling it all together since you would get the same effect.

I have some notes on a possible future update, like having multiple life-pots, the addition of last cave (hidden), fixing up text-speed and FPS, adding a health/ammo cap and ability to remove/reset health/ammo, and possible inclusion of a major ability-based hack I'm working on at the moment. It's only notes and ideas though, it's still an inactive project.

Wait, what? I meant for activating them. The're not in my inventory at all when I play it.
