Midnight Muse
"No! Don't OPEN that DOOR!"
Location:
This began as a stray thought that I liked the idea of dreams in the game. In my writing, I've used dreams, well, they were really nightmares... to add something into the story that I could not do outright. Oftentimes I left it unknown until it was over that it was even a dream. I know and I agree... I am often sadistic to my characters that I write about, but that led me to this conclusion just out of idle curiosity...
What do the dreams in Alundra mean and how accurate are they?
After some work and research, here is what I came up with... The meanings in bold are those I felt were the most accurate IMO. If you want to give your opinion, feel free to do so. I'll eventually add the entire set of interpretations to Zen. And add the next dream as I get it finished...
An added note... This is only done in fun and is not serious in any fashion. Please do not think that because you dream of something like this that this in anyway interprets your dream as I have done these.
Enjoy!

An obstacle
Separating self from others, shutting the world out
Feeling excluded or shut out
Protection
Harnessing
Surrounding
Your inner self-defence mechanisms
Feeling frustrated, climbing the walls
Allowing something to go to ruin, letting it go to the wall
Being forced into a difficult situation, driven to the wall
Being in a corner, having your back against the wall
Eavesdropping, snooping, wanting to be a fly on the wall
Frustration or absence of progress, banging your head against a brick wall
Gelatinoid
The beast within or your darker side - embrace it, it's valuable to you
Symbolic of something that is overwhelming to you
Playfulness, fantasy or being childlike
My interpretation :
Wendel is a god-fearing person, running around wanting to be noticed, but acting cowardly as he's banging his head against a brick wall, making progress? (in a pig's eye. Alundra saves him. Okay... maybe that one doesn't really fit... Although, he is making progress in not getting injured... ~_^ ) while his darker side is being playful and he should be embracing it.

Just remember this is in fun.... XD
