It's doesn't unless you want to say "One of us don't judge like that." Psst. And that's incorrect grammar.

I'm just gonna wait until DT posts his intro level. By then I'll be able to figure out how exactly I should format it. I want to start working soooon.

Fine, I'll just make something cool without reference. You'll see.

You'd rather edit the game so you can try the boss, whose map is "Salle inondée", just after "Le Broyeur".
I actually found the boss more intimidating than that room D: You appear to know what you're doing though, so go ahead (provided you've read the project rules and so on). Also, I like the Lv3 Blade :D

Are we going to have a mario-style level progression? Like worlds with levels? Or just levels?
Each area is going to be a separate example of one person's work, but I'm hoping to keep the transitions between them smooth, so that the mod 'flows' nicely and doesn't feel like a bunch of random levels taped together. Some proper thematic work may be done as the project progresses, but for now we just need to get some levels together.

As a finalnote, I do like Take 8 as a working title :D

How about you keep the " take" part but replace the 8 with the number of maps used in the mod

Because I don't think you understand the symbolism of the title and your suggestion wouldn't be a very creative name at all

By your logic we might as well call it Action <insert number of maps here>

Hm, so this is a team co-op CS Hack for... Cave Story+ ? How is that supposed to work, will there be a complete port ? I'm curious.

(I have some mediocre knowledge at CS hacking, so I'm tempted to sign up, but I have too much projects going on :V)

Following this anyway.

Tyrone has posted elsewhere to say that they are now accepting mods (not hacks) for Cave Story+ (I can only assume with intention to port themselves); everything else is explained in the OP.

Also check your visitor messages you puppy :momo:

Okay, map submission. Do we send links to zip folders with Npc/Bk/Prt/.pxa/.pxe/.pxm/.tsc files to Mr. DT? Just wanna clear it up for when I finish.

You upload your area as a playable mod in the dev thread for playtesting

Wait a minute... I used Sue's Workshop. Will that cause any problerms?

Prolly not, as I think DT and andwhy are compiling it. I'm sure they can manually port it to CE for you.

EDIT: PS: Learn CE. It's more professional and can do more crap, if I remember correctly. It also supports Sue's mods. I'm pretty sure most of the modders here use CE. You can ask pretty much anyone for tips. There's a guide by DragonBoots for it too.

That makes me feel better. I wouldn't want to have to redo my 75 by 35 map that I've already uploaded the updated version of to the dev thread again!:heartrefill:
EDIT: I can use CE, it's just it wouldn't save on it. So, I used SW.

Your files are read-only. Go into the "data" folder properties and make sure the read-only box is unchecked.

That's.... odd. Are you sure you are doing it correctly? I'll occasionally have issues where I'll type something into an entities event section, and have it not save. Usually I just have to click on it to fix it.

No, I mean that it wouldn't save on Cave Editor, but would on Sue's Workshop. I always make sure my files are read only when I start one of my fail mods.

Please make sure that your files are NOT read only.

That's what I meant. I was typing on my iPod, with it's stupid autocorrect.

Perhaps you still need it's stupid autocorrect.
