Those look great! I currently use "Arrgh my Eyes!", IMHO the others look either a too busy or a little messy. They're fine design-wise, but the colors are just not to my taste. What I mean to say is that all three of those new skins look great.

Heh, these new designs will have convinced me to change over to one of the darker themes when we make the change. I'm using ARGH right now, but simply because if its... simplicity!

I don't really care if this will happen or not, but will our join date be preserved?

Doe anyone use blueperl? I'm considering dropping it.

In other news gameflaws is done and work on the miraigamer skin has commenced.

I should very much think it would.

Yeah I'm not familiar with this "blueperl." So I think the answer to your question is "no," but maybe you should give us a screenshot so we know what we're missing. It sounds pretty!

Ah. I suspect it's a disabled skin then.
Well that makes my job easier.

Anyhow it's not like you guys are missing much:

It's pretty broken.

I don't mind engine changes, just so long as Opera Mini still works.

I'm fine with it. As long as everything is preserved, like the converter website said.

Miraigamer theme:
miraigamer.jpg
Had to redo a large number of images for that one because a number of them seemed to be vB default images with inverted colours.

But in any case that's the last one. Four or five days from now I'll close the forums and port everything over.

EDIT: Whoops. Forgot to post the gameflaws theme..

They all look great :)
It's just the movements of the buttons to different places. I think it'll take a bit to get used to those.

Nice job

Oh, just joined this topic. I guess the change came as something of a shock to me, because I only joined these forums a few days ago. I like how you've been able to make the layout similar to this, but I guess it superior security system will save the admins a lot of time. So our join dates and all will be preserved, but will viewing that archived page be the ONLY way to view our previous topics? Cause I want all the quotes to still be embedded, and those links to still be clickable, and the spoilers to be hidden, and the users to still be recognizable. Will we have to rebuild our topics? If so, then I guess it's a bit too late for me to object...

It would be pretty silly to convert if it would destroy the entire structure of the forums.

I'm sure things will be fine.

That sooths me... as long as we clarify that you understand what I meant. I was not worried about the forums retaining their structure in messages that will be posted succeeding the transition. My concern regarding the structure was in terms of viewing threads and discussions which took place before the switch. Will they be accessible in the new site and still have their structure? Or will they be deleted? Sorry if I'm oblivious to how this whole thing works, cause I was once part of a forum that crashed, and all the posts and stuff were lost, and everyone had to create new accounts on a new website, and we had to rebuild it from the ground up. The point is, I don't want to have to view older posts in archived form if that's the only way to go.

I am certain within a 99.5% confidence interval that all the posts and threads and accounts will remain exactly as they are now.

I don't care if that's not how a confidence interval works.

Look at the bolded and underlined text in the quote. Everything will be fine, unless some random bug in the converter deletes all our posts.

Even then we will still be fine because I will have backed up everything beforehand.
