Super Duck

Old topic!

This is my attempt at making an indie game

http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/214141-super-duck

Super Duck is a game designed to look and play like something you might see on
the nes/famicom.

It is about a duck who sets out to defeat an evil chicken named Freddie and his gang of goons.

Super Duck was made with game maker and all the sprites sound effects and music were made by me
there is no copyrighted content in Superduck.

So play it and tell me what you think.

I was able to play through the whole thing without much trouble, besides a few bosses. Like the second boss was confusing in that you need the cherries to shoot, uh, fireballs? And the boss of stage 5 was the hardest because he dropped bombs randomly so there wasn't much of a strategy you could employ against him, whereas the final boss was super easy with its destroyable projectiles.

Anyways it wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't all that great either.

This game shows potential, be great as an arcade game. I'd suggest adding a health bar and side scrolling stages similar to the style of gradius. Keep it up!

F.Y.I I do agree with noxid, better then most CS mods on this site.

Not gonna lie, that's not a very high standard to beat here.

Yes the cherries give you fireballs.
The 5th boss can be hard or easy depending on your luck and I agree the final boss was way too easy
but I plan to make a sequal someday and I will do my best to make it better.

Funny I thought about doing that.
