I am thinking of bringing my old changing images sig back, if I had enough time to spend on the forum to put forth that effort. . .
At least now that it has been almost a year all those silly goons who decided to start copying image changing sigs should have moved on by now.

At the risk of coming off as a grumpy old guy, I find 200 pixels to be a little large actually, given that it's a sixth of my screen, and most people don't have 1200 vertical resolution. Just seeing Noxid's nurr hurr image, it's way too tall for me. Maybe like 150-180 or something?

I think 800 should definitely be the absolute maximum for forum signatures. Otherwise you will risk stretching the page on some computers.

Do signatures stretch the page? Because that image doesn't for me, and my screen is 1024 pixels wide.

If the picture's large enough IPBoard shrinks them down to fit the boundaries/whatever

It stretches the page when I'm on 800x600, but not when i'm on 1024x768 (it shrinks the image if at this resolution).
Either way I still say 800 is a good limit for width. I don't see why you'd need more than that.

If it shrinks the image at 1024x768 and above, why does it stretch the image when the resolution is 1920x1080?
