I've been making orgs for about 6 months now. These are what I consider to be my best so far.

the first is my attempt at a replacement for 'geothermal'. I tried to capture the feel of the song.

I think we all know what this is. *cough* wily 1 *cough*

This is my partially finished cover of 'black burn', the highway stage of mega man ZX.

Great to see another cover of this so soon (not sarcasm, by the way). This one is fairly accurate as far as the melody goes, but some of the bass from the original is missing (measures 16-24, to be specific) and the percussion feels like it's missing something. Also, it's quite a bit slower than it should be. A few minutes with a MIDI allowed me to make a few improvements based on what I said above... does this sound better?

That's actually a huge improvement to what I made. I knew that some of the bass was missing but every attempt to transcribe it was unsuccessful, it just didn't sound right to me. The drumbeat sounds more urgent with the lower tempo, making it more of a fast-paced song. Thanks for the modifications!

Skar_271 : It's strange, I can't download your song ... :(

2DBro : The melody is good, but you should add some tracks, it would be better !!!

Ready to Adventure

The title was supposed to be "Ready for Adventure", but I made a typo the first time I saved it and decided never to change it. :/ This piece is mostly experimental, playing off the I V vi IV chord structure that makes most songs sound good. It's probably the longest ORG I've completed so far, though it's still not that long (just almost 3 minutes). Here's a recording of it below, though the quality is pretty botched up.

An edit of a song I found on this thread that I don't believe anyone fixed.

I wouldn't necessarily say I like your version better. I'm not sure why you removed the electric sound near the beginning, I liked it better with that, and that made it sound more like the original. I also prefer the instrument selection of mine for instrument tracks 1, 7, and 8 better, as I feel it gave something closer to that violin sound I was going for. I also originally didn't have it loop because it didn't feel like the kind of song that was meant to be looped.

Of course, my opinion to any edit of something I worked on will undoubtedly be biased, so take my feedback with a grain of salt.
