Org files are always supposed to start with the ASCII string Org-0X, where X is an integer digit, usually a small one. Otherwise, I don't think it makes any sense.

What happens when I mix arpeggio and abuse? Well here you go. It sounds like something taken from a {$insert_danmaku_name_here_with_lotsa_eyecandy_and_cute_stuff}.

It's good, but it sounds too high pitched. Might wanna bring a few of those tracks down an octave.

I don't know where to put this, but here is a song I made in Famitracker. It's a cover of the boss theme in Ika-Chan.

This is a pretty good cover. I'm surprised you used Vocaroo to upload it though.

OK GIR, I tried what you have suggested, although I changed some parts to make it sound not dull.

And BTW, actually I made this song years ago. The original file was long lost and I just recalled the notes. Somehow I managed to get Transient close to the original one I composed back then (and I don't think I ever named it Transient, but anyway).

I made this and didn't really feel like posting it on here, but I'm having trouble. There's this one part where tracks 5 and 7 overlap and make the song sound weird and I'm not sure how to fix it while keeping the song's quality. I don't want to just bring one of the tracks down an octave because it sounds weird as well.

Any suggestions?

By the way it's a transcription.

Try fiddling with the panning/volume. It helps. Or just pick another instrument for those tracks.

Well I've already tried some panning and volume stuff but it all just seems to blend together. I guess I'll try some other tracks then, thanks.

It looks like you're talking about the parts where the track 5 and 7 instruments are playing the same pitch in unison? Those parts sounded slightly louder to me, but not too weird. I don't have any ideas beyond what otemoto-dansei-ningen suggested (basically, reducing the volume of the unison notes until it sounds good with the surrounding notes), just wanted to know exactly what parts you were talking about.

Whoa, that's really good! I'm not very good at critiquing music, so all I can really say is awesome job. It looks like you put a lot of work into that song, and it sounds very complex and polished. This is an original composition right? If not, still good job.

Thanks! I do actually have a background for making music (although 99% of it is digital).

The most work I put into this song is, actually, the polishing. For example, there used to me no lead on the big part, and this version is 1 OCTAVE higher than I was going to have it. I have to say the complex sound is what I was going for, although strangely I think it sounds better right after it loops once.

Yes, the tune is an original composition. BUT, I was actually mostly inspired by a one-man music project called "Owl City". For those of you who know who that is, try to listen to it with that in mind.

Well, that might explain why I liked this song so much, because I absolutely love Owl City.
