Wow that was fast. An epic 14 minutes of music; very nice medley.

I copied a tune from Fantasy Sword for this one.

I think it turned out really well! It's not quite done yet. I mean, it's going to be a little bit longer, but it's not missing any instruments or anything. Whaddaya think? It'll only work in OrgMaker 2, btw.

The Org sounds great as usual, though I'm having a bit of trouble finding the original song.

OrgView is just that. It lets you use pre-existing org files built into the .exe file. Org MAKER lets you MAKE org files. It looks a lot like a midi file examiner once you open it, and works a bit like one, too. Actually, it should look a lot like the pictudre I currently have in my signature. Click in the areas to add notes. Click on the notes to make them longer, or right click on them to make them shorter or delete them. Wedge has already provided you with a download link, it seems. Using it should be pretty self-explanatory.

I would just use OrgMaker. It's much more simple. Just go to this link, which Wedge has already provided:
http://www.cavestory.org/downloads_6.php
Then download "OrgMaker 2"

For some quickly put-together instructions, click the link below. Maybe some visual aid will help.

edit: Here's another one, too.

My verson of OrgMaker may look a bit different, because it's made by a superspecial person. =D It still works exactly the same, though. The sprites are just different.

If you want use the orgs in cave story without having to use noxid's hack, then use ORGmaker version 1.34, you can find it on the tribute site.
I do not recommend using version 2.
I never use it.

Oh, but V2 is so nice and colourful!
And it's got added functionality with the QuickCopy tool!
And also more drums!

What's not to like?

That's what I thought, too. But, then again, all you have to do is make sure not to use the drums that aren't compatible with CS. Other than that, once you're used to it, V2 is much easier to use. Besides, there are a couple of drums in 1.34 that don't work in CS, too. If you're used to the old version, it can look kind of confusing because there's more on your screen, but there are certainly no disadvantages to upgrading. And, like Noxid say, it's nice and *SHINY* 0_0

To put more than one note in the same position, you need to use a different track. Have track one be one note and have track two be another note. In the picture in my sig, the first row of notes (A) is track one, the second one (A flat) is track two, etc. The green one is the active track, or the one that I'm editing now.

Well, if you're like me and you're too lazy to put the hack in, then you may still want to use 1.34, since even the drums that are CS compatible sound different in 2.05 than in 1.34. Also, on my old computer, 2.05 would often lag, but 1.34 rarely would. That should only be a problem if you have an unnaturally shitty computer (like I used to) though.

Well according to the members list, he was online some time yesterday, so I'd say yes. Try visitor messaging him; he'll probably respond.
