Searching For Spring

Draw your razor-sharp intellect from its scabbard and charge into danger.

 

Realize that the cracks in the walls mean that the cave is very unstable.
Tell Wriggle to lead the way and start running away from the danger.

As you go, look around for any hand-sized chunks of flint or that pinecone you threw.

 

"All the more reason to question why are you here. Are you dealing with some dark demons? If so, we are here for you and suicide is not the solution."

She is speechless.

You must make a choice whether to leave or continue on.

Well, I tried.

Decide to keep going into the cave, while looking around for that pinecone you threw in.

 

Attempt to punch a crack in the walls to see what happens.

 

As we walk, apologize for our eccentricity and ask for the wolf-eared stranger's name.

 

*Sigh* "Sorry. I just want to see what the end has. What's your name?"

"Momiji. That's my name."

You punch the walls. Nothing happens.

Suddenly, you hear a vibrating croak from the cave.

 

ask if that's they're real name or if they're just a weeaboo

 

Run away as fast as possible, and ask Wriggle to take the lead.

 

summon an otter to eat the nearing frog

 

Croak back.

 

"You sure that's not a weaboo name?"
Momiji is confused, but seems desperate.
You do not have otter summoning powers.
You croak back, but the loud croaking intensifies.
You start to run away, leaving Wriggle to lead.

You eventually make it out. There seems to be no sound from the cave anymore.
"That took you long enough! Finally!" Momiji says. "Please, for your safety, just stay away from here. That's part of my job."

You are out of the cave at the waterfall. There are the waterfall WALLS, WATERFALL, SPRING, and Momiji. She seems ready to take off.

 

Look around for any flat hand-sized chunks of flint.

Thank Momiji for the warnings, then take a quick rest against a wall.

 

Go to the spring, for that is what you are searching for, no?

"Well, what now?" Wriggle asks.
You search for flint, but only find dirt and twigs.
"Follow me," You say.
You head for the Spring.
"I'm surprised the Waterfall hasn't frozen," Wriggle says. "It's so cold..."
The spring, however, is. The waterfall flows under and goes downhill through the river.

You see the WATEFALL, WALLS, and a LEDGE. You may interact with WRIGGLE.

 

Examine the wall.

 

The walls are rocky. They may be climbable, but you could use the ledge to get a boost. It appears dangerous, however.

 

Examine the rocks in the wall. Are they flat or flintlike?
