Okay.

This has to be one of the best games I've ever played. I just can't even begin to explain how amazing it is. Best $15 dollars I've ever spent in my life.

That's right kiddies, $15. It's 15 dollars used at Gamestop. Go buy it. Now.

Anyone elsed played this massive two disc orgasm?

Rather old, don't you think?

Meh, it was pretty awesome when it was first released...
...But then RE5 came out....
Multiplayer Resident Evil?
Epic.

RE2 > RE4 > RE5 > RE:CV > RE3. RE1 is in it's own class.

I need to play Resident Evil 2, apparently.

There's also RE:0, but nobody cares about RE:0.

Pretty much. That game had SUCH cheesey voice acting though, and looking back the gfx don't seem so great. It still was awesome though.

Resident Evil 2 was more awesome though. I don't know how, but I remember it was really fun. Unfortunately I don't remember much about the game itself, and I don't know where the copy we had of it is. It was really interesting though since my parents didn't know to buy a memory card, so whenever we played through it we started from the beginning each time.

Resident Evil 4 was made of win. Resident Evil 5 didn't do it justice as a sequel, as far as I'm concerned (it was still pretty fun, just not as "whoa"). The game had good gameplay, it was really fun to play. Even now I could go play through it another time, it's just fun. One of the things I really loved was right when the game throws you in the village, and the chainsaw dude decides to come after you, I was like "silly villagers, I have time to reload my shotgun". But then he sawed off my head. Awesome (it sucks that the chainsaw dudes in RE5 don't saw off your head, was disappointed.)

Also the Resident Evil outbreak series wasn't that bad, if not just stupidly hard with some of the puzzles in the levels.

I haven't played any of the outbreak games so I have no idea about them.

MetaSeraphim is right about this. Since RE4 started, the game is an Action FPS rather than in the horror genre. It is a different game. It is not what RE4 and RE5 supposed to be however....
RE4 is pretty enjoyable if you don't care about it being different. Ditto for RE5.

The outbreak games are good to read deep about the story of Resident Evil:
"Resident Evil Outbreak"
"Resident Evil Outbreak File #2"

Oh, and, I would put REmake over all the other ones. Not only because I enjoyed the first RE back in the day, but next to RE:CV it was one of the last new-gen RE that went by the first formula.

I would enjoy a remake of RE:2 also. Not too sure about RE:3 though, since it was basically RE:2 with one character, and NEMESIS!!! Who is still a very cool and annoying boss despite the lack of adding anything new.
