Poor Chivalry, only in the game for one short sentence.

In all seriousness though, this seems to be a pretty viable theory, and his act of revenge coupled with the need for a "special" mimiga probably made her a more likely target than Itoh.

Exactly. There's no real reason why he couldn't send for Itoh, and if anything, he would have been an easier capture. :muscledoc:

What tipped me off was when Momorin mentioned that "men who don't treat women with respect are barbarians" (referring to the doctor) -- definitely made me think she's seen/put up with his bullshit before.

I always thought that when she said that she was refering to the fact that he threw her off the island when he got his hands on the crown. For all we know he could have been a perfect gentleman up to that point, and probably would have needed to have been in order to earn favor to get on the trip to the island (maybe).

Apologies in advance if the following has already been stated/proven/denied.

I always thought that the doctor was the one who turned Sue into a mimiga as an experiment to see if the red flower would affect mimiga-morphed humans, but Sue escaped his captivity before being forced to eat it. He pursued her from that point forward as he still desired to complete his experiment, he just failed to hunt down any of the other humans or some reason.

(He obviously willed Misery to do the transforming, but I see is as the doctors doing.)

But sue escaped before the doctor even knew where the flowers were.

Aha, but that does not mean he was unaware of their existence.

...

No, I think you've disproved my theory, I just still think he turned Sue into a mimiga for some test-related reasons.

How would the doctor turning someone you don't know into a mimiga piss you off?
