I'd say 6.7/10.

Nice beat, a tad bit short, but overall a pretty funky song.

Now for something from my childhood.

Eeyup, I played a pretty wide variety of games when I looked back on it.

Here's a link if it doesn't come up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WapeWnX-FLI

9/10 Some real good stuff there, lots of variation, nice arrangement, catchy, and a pretty good atmosphere as well.

(It get's better and better as the song goes, so be sure to listen to the whole thing. Starts to really pick up at 1:20 or so.)

hmm, looks like I'm gonna have to rate 3 different tracks, since sexplosive kinda went and did his own thing there. :p

VVVVVV = 9.6/10 (now THAT is the good vgm, right there, oh yes)
MGS = 7.1/10
Rez = 6.5/10

7.7 It really suffers from midi-like samples. What I mean by that is that they don't cut through much; they sound dull. But that is good stuff.

Btw, I just figured out how to use the actual youtube link instead of just using the standard link. You only put the number in, not the whole link. If you put in part of the link, you will get a huge white block with nothing appearing.
In explaining: get rid of this "youtube.com/watch?v=" and then just put the following number inside of the youtube link.
It'll look like this: (youtube)ski6AYbfU-A(/youtube) except with these brackets of course "[" "]"

I just edited my post on the other music thread, and I was able to put up 4 youtube links and they all work fine. I believe this is the only way to put multiple youtube links in a single post, so it is good to know. I hope I informed at least a few people.

Anyway, moving on:

EDIT:
@Dunc2403: I almost forgot to comment on that remix. It's quite a creative remix. I honestly didn't think I was going to like it in the first few seconds, but I really started to love it as it progressed, and by the end it became a favorite remix. I still don't know anyone that has made a remix that I prefer over the original, but that's generally how it goes with remixes. Thanks for sharing!

9.5/10. It's just so jazzy and mysterious and it seriously sounds like the new guile's theme :awesomeface:

...except, nothing beats Guile's theme. Ever. :cool:

[Video added in a sec]

EDIT: My favorite song, Ryoshima Coast.

It's very dramatic, i give it that but i can't help but get the feeling i heard this kind of song so many times before. I swear i heard a church bell somewhere so it gets bonus points for that. =B

Sounds western stand off-ish... Pretty nice, a little much with the choir parts... lol
I like it, it's a lot of fun; but not my favorite kind of style.
8/10

Here, I spent the last hour recording and quickly putting together the video so their would be some visuals to the song.

7.5/10

One of those tracks that have to come at the right moment. But anyways yeah it's cool! I do like ambient tracks in video games every now and then. The wierd flamboyant trumpet synth is kinda annoying, though.

Talking about ambient...

6/10 Classy! Would fit right in with a ballroom or something.
But it really isn't my thing, MS seemed to change their music-making methods at some point and now they sound all different, like there are no synths anymore. Might be nostalgia speaking.
