Welp, Sony copies Nintendo again. Don’t think I’ll be buying thing thing, and comes with 20 games I’m not even interested in. Also, the graphics haven’t aged that well. There’s also the fact that it has less games than the snes classic, (which had an unreleased game in it) and it costs $20 more. I would be interested in a PS2/Xbox/GameCube classic tho. Because I still have my PlayStation 3 with the PS2 hardware in it, with $100 I can probably buy 2-5 PS1 games for it

Just so you know the PS2 hardware means nothing for PS3 backward compatibility with PS1 games, as that has always used emulation.

Isn't the PS1 classic also an emulator in a box? I don't seem to get the point you're trying to deliver here, tbh.

That adding your ps3 is ps2 compatible was unnecessary since any ps3 plays ps1 games exactly the same

So these console classics are just the consoles with some games already in it? I still have no clue of how they work

But yeahhhh I just think it's useful for people who can't find the games and wanna play them on a console I guess

The PS1's library can be played pretty easily, unlike the NES and SNES, which never had backward compatibility
