Problems with Cave story+

I buyed Cave story+ on steam, but after installing it, it doesn't run! I was told it was because of DirectX, the I downladed the latest version, and it still doesn't work!
Worst ! I can't play mods with 2 X resolution !

Can you guys help?

 

Maybe you don't have the right specs, I have the steam version as well and it works fine for me.

But I also know how you feel. I couldn't play portal 2 until 4-6 months after I bought it, because the specs I had when I first bought it couldn't run the game.


What type of computer do you have?

 

I have a desktop computer.

Have you considered getting a computer that isn't older than you are?

It would help if you actually described what kind of problems you are having.

Can you access the contents of the report at all?

 

Odd. My old Windows XP runs it fine with no problems.
Here's a good idea though: Upgrade your computer.

 

Do you have .NET Framework and Service Pack 3 installed?

i got the same thing with terraria on my last comp. i reccomend reinstalling it or just try reinstalling steam. i reinstalled steam and it worked
