Rank your favorite website in 5 categories:

<Best Social Network>
<Best Gaming Portal>
<Best Web 2.0 Site>
<Best Prank Site>
<Best Overall Hangout>

My vote:
Best Social Network: The Casual Collective
These guys have it ALL. They are the biggest drain on my productivity to date; I check the Casual Collective more often than I do my email. It's still a fledgeling site, so there aren't too many trolls or noobs, but it's a great place to relax, post in the forum, or play the games.
Best Gaming Portal: The Casual Collective
Think Kongregate meets Facebook. These games are specially designed by the site's creators (who also made smash hit Desktop Tower Defense), and therefore come out a little slowly (there are currently less than 10 games on the site) but that doesn't stop them from being many of the best flash games that I've ever played. They're designed to be 'social': You MEET people on this site. You make friends. And they're damn fun too.
Best Web 2.0 Site: Aviary
Casual Collective scores second on this one, but I thought it would be unfair to nominate it for every f'king category. Aviary is pretty much unprecedented- a set of online image editors with all the power of Photoshop. Create stunning images in the website's Photoshop competitor, Phoenix:

Or generate them with a node-based creation approach in Peacock.

Best Prank Site:
Hands down winner is the good old rickroll.
Second place: YouAreAnIdiot.Org
(Better than rickrolling but only works on certain computers.)
3rd place: Rickroll programs.
Walrus Massacre II|RollTube
Favorite All-Around Hangout: The Casual Collective
Really, what did you expect me to say? This is the ultimate productivity timesink.

As for your categories:
- I do not use Social Network sites.
- I do not use Gaming Portals because I don't have the time for it
- I have never heard of Web 2.0 until now.
- I suck at pulling pranks.

That leaves me with only one category. Assuming that everyone uses the internet only for playing flash games, and visiting social networking sites is absurd. Where is the webcomic category? Where is the blog category? Where is the fan site category?

I would recommend that we ditch the categories and just post links.

I'll just list my top 5 sites, not really sure bout the order :

www.onemanga.com - Well, it doesn't host as much as www.mangafox.com but it loads faster
www.facebook.com - Well it's .... good.
www.animeseason.com - Well I just knew it for a while, but it's done a lot for me already. I need to know which animes to watch though.
www.kongregate.com - Left it for a while, for some reason my connection is not having a good relationship with em lately.
www.blogger.com - Ha!

Honorable mentions -

http://en.wikipedia.org - because http://ms.wikipedia.org is still in shit phase
www.friendster.com - say wtf but it still works.
www.youtube.com - of course!
www.hotmail.com - I doubt that's the real URL to use but it works.
www.gmail.com - more sophisticated messages go here.
http://dictionary.reference.com - I am a student.
www.urbandictionary.com - I am a user.

[offtopic]For those who fucking did not know, Chrome has a special ability thing where you can perform search on a few sites without logging into that site first, directly from the address bar.

For instance, type e or en.w and press tab and type what you want to search wikipedia for. Or type y and tab and type what you wanna search youtube for. Type d then tab then what you wanna search dic for etc.[/offtopic]

Oh I forgot about www.cavestory.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1

This is sat. Apparently any post inside the Miraigamer.net subforum aren't counted. Learn that, noob.

I went offtopic, and flamed, or trolled, or whatever you call this. Delete me.
