You select and copy the picture from MS Paint and THEN press ctrl+v to paste it into snag.gy.

*facepalm* Of course that's what you do.

And it saves it as a jpg but I don't think it leaves any artifacts, so it's fine I think.

I'm sorry to say, but it does leave artifacts.

Pictures can be saved as any file extension as long as your browser can open them. For example, you can host a .gif as spookyforest.jpg and scare the everloving fuck out of someone when you link the picture and say "When you see it..."

Wait a second... *Downloads Google Chrome* Ok, yeah, this is the last straw. Me and Internet Explorer are over. I'm switching to Google Chrome, because IE can't do this right, and Google Chrome can, on top of a lot of other things that have made me come closer and closer to switching. I think we've got this all sorted out. Sorry for all the n00bish questions.

EDIT: Oh, also Wild Desu, I only just noticed that you changed your avatar, IE never bothered to let me know.

 

Okay can we try not to ruin it again, that was too much effort to be bothered doing twice.
My expert analysis indicates that you may have been inadvertantly saving it as an 8-bit indexed palette image, when it has much more than 255 colors.

Also I've noticed that my (and a little bit of wedge's) little red slime's indents are black so I decided to fix those.

 

Yeah, if I missed a little colour or something then feel free to fix the shade.
It looks so much better now that it's brightened up though, god that was getting dreary

Odd, the picture looks fine on my local machine but when i upload it to imgur it gets darkened

Finally! I wanted to do another one, but I didn't want to double-post either. Anyway,

Alright I'm pretty sure imgur might be the culprit for making the images shades darker. I don't know why but it seems like it is fine until I upload it at which point the colour goes weird. Why it only does this "sometimes" is beyond me so maybe there are other factors at play.. I caught it on sebti's image and fixed it with the prev. and now i'm having trouble getting it to upload cleanly.
