I got around to searching my old chat logs for the link to Stone of Peace, and it looks like the original file on the doukutsu uploader is no longer there. One more for the update pile!

 

So... what was it about? (Stone of Peace, I mean)

Surely if you played it though, and tried to read the npcs' body motion, you'd be able to get at least a faint idea of what it's about, wouldn't you?

It seems the "Cave Story 2" mod is being worked on. 0545 is very outdated. The recent is 1279. Next two are 1260 and 1259, marked "(tentative)". Played up to the "Ice" area and defeated two versions of Igor-like bosses. Now I am stuck, so I think it is the end of the demo?

Go back to the campsite, enter the building and talk to Kazuma. After that, backtrack. The barrier will then be down and you will enter the water area. So I see from that page that there is much more about your mod than just the forest area, great! Could you give us a link to the latest version? And if it's not too much trouble, could you tell us the premise of the story? (Where did Quote and the others and up? Who are the people they meet at the camp? What are they doing there?)

I see... basically a new flying island was found and Quart has been brought there by Balrog to help the human researchers investigate it. Neat!

おぉぅ、まさかの日本人でしたか。

や、海外の改造とかだとNPCの動きを改造してるもんが多々あるんですよ。
グラフィック差し替えだけじゃ表現に限界があるので動きもちょっと弄くりたいのです。

 

I think I've played through to the end of this version. The backtracking near the beginning gets somewhat annoying, but I really like everything from the city area onwards. All the new graphical art is great as well Nice work!
