It doesn't change anything involving getting an ending by trading in your polar star. It is just common to trade in the polar star for the spur in the hard playthrough, not necessary.

Most walkthrus will say you need the Spur in Hell because it makes it alot easier, but you don't need it. You can beat it with the Polar Star and any of it's three trade-ins.

www.yeah.com is, 'cause it doesn't say "error" or such, and in my Opera, it says that it needs something like authorization, that stupid stuff.

No. Opera is just like Firefox except you don't have to download all of those add-ons.
