NIS Cave Story 3D Website

NIS just launched a Flash-based site for Cave Story 3D earlier today, located here. It's kind of neat, showing off the new art style for the game, a trailer and screenshots, as well as three songs, possibly from the game.

My boyfriend wanted me to get the three songs off the site for him, so I thought I'd post the links to them in case anybody here wanted them. =)

I believe I made a post awhile back about that site, along with a link to their inferior forums. I couldn't find it within the first five pages of my post history, but I do remember posting about it earlier this Summer (or Winter, for people like AndWhy). Since I can't find it I don't object. I hadn't heard the songs before, however. They sound nice.

Arg.. I gotta say that Cave Story 3DS looks awful.
The 3D graphic did not work well, it's not appealing, rough and hard to tell where you suppose to go and land.
It even pissed me off a little bit for how they messed up the game's graphic.
I miss the purity of 2d pixel graphic, only if there could be a port on NDS(Not NDSi god damn it!) I would be satisfied.

The musics of CS3DS are OK, tho.

I never considered that before. That could be a real issue for people who don't have every ledge and platform memorized.

Good thing there's still that old PC version kicking around.

 

I agree with Fab and Online Worms; where to land looks a bit trickier than in the PC version. Also, there may be more trial-and-error in the newer version, which could frustrate newcomers.

I want to love this game, I really want to. I'll just have to wait until November to see if I actually can.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to get the game no matter how terrible it is. However, I still hope that it will be successful for Amaya's sake.

 

I'm going to get the game unless it's riddled with bugs or controls poorly. From what I've heard it controls EXTREMELY well, and Nicalis doesn't release buggy games (well, not buggy GAMEPLAY). Plus, portable Cave Story.
