#1 - Cave Story
Need I even explain?

#2 - Karoshi 2.0
Gawd. Awesome. You kill yourself in this game. Obstacles prevent you from doing so.
Karoshi Factory is crap though.

#3 - Seven Minutes
It was hard the first time I played it, but now, it's a walk in the park. Not much replay value. Would probably go last on my list if I had completed the #4 and #5.

#4 - I Wanna Be the Guy
Pretty interesting and hard. Can't get past the first boss. No idea how to either.

#5 - Streambolt
Great game, haven't completed it yet.

Lol that game gives me the creeps >:

Although it kinda rocks though. I like the epic storylines in the Trilby series.

I think this is more of a point-and-click adventure than a pixel-drawn platformer

It's a mix of both (Mostly platformer), since the point-and-click sections are for keypads and crap

lolk.

I think the new Phoenix Wright game where you play as Edgeworth (not sure if it came out yet) is a platformer too.

As for all freewares,

1. Cave Story
2. Karoshi 2.0
3. 7 Days a (forgot)
4. 6 Days a (forgot)
5. LF2

You didn't even dare play through 1213, so how come you liked it?

I don't really like making favourites lists, but I'll mention a few that haven't been looked at much yet.

Within a Deep Forest: Surprised nobody mentioned this yet... well-designed and challenging platforming with really nice ambient music. You play as a bouncing ball, adding a whole other mechanic to manage.
Knytt and Knytt Stories: More exploration-based than WaDF, you're a little thing that can jump and climb walls. Knytt Stories also allows one to create their own levels and stories, and you can download those made by others to play as well, why haven't I done this yet...
Nifflas' games page.

La-Mulana: Amazingly well-designed, oozing genuine style both macabre and oldschool, filled with a dark story and genuinely challenging riddles and puzzles the likes of which I've never seen before.

Iji: Well I made the thread for it >_>

The Underside: It will be awesome when it's finished and you know it :(
