For me. And Kechirase! from Mirumo de Pon :D

Anything else would be Blur. Just nothing can pwn this thing. Blur.

And I like a bit of SOAD when their songs make sense. But when even the composition doesn't make sense, then I'll hate this band.

Type 0 Negative and Weena Morloch are pretty good actually.

I used to listen exclusively to video game music when I was younger. Nowadays, my MP3 player has some Iron Maiden blaring out of it almost 24/7. :)

So, the big names that give Rune big thrills?

- Iron Maiden (no band gives a live performance more intense than Maiden. Not one of 'em!)
- Sonata Arctica (seeing them live with Nightwish in about 2 weeks :D)
- Kamelot
- Megaherz
- Eisbrecher
- Rammstein
- Wintersun
- Couple of others, but not as much as the above.

I'm also into jazz. My favorite artists would have to be Miles, Coltrane, and Simone (now that woman can play the piano!)

I'm a big fan of NDH. It's great music. :D

Rammstein was my first german band, like most people, but I started looking for more "out there" stuff and stumbled on a few other good groups. Eisbrecher and Megaherz are at the top of my list.

And fancy that, I'm going to germany in a month and a half. :)

My tastes cover quite a lot >_> But I like most things. It'd be quicker to list what I don't like, which is mostly crappy urban stuff like bad Crunk and Gangstaaaaaaah Rap, and Death Metal or anything similar, I can't stand the stuff. Not so much music as it is Fancy Loud Noise >_> I like some Heavy Metal though, like Metallica... when they were still good.
As for video game musics, I love the stuff, regardless of the sound quality level; I love really old stuff like NES and Gameboy musics too. I think they required you to use your imagination a bit more, but then I just like the way chiptunes sound :) This includes Cave Story of course, I mean really, if you don't like the music in this game then you pretty much don't like oldsch00l gaming music period.
Also, best film clip ev4r. Additionally features a Jon Stewart look-alike on drums.

As far as types of music is concerned, my tastes are quite broad. That said, I'm not a big fan of mainstream music. I listen mostly to video game music, chiptunes in particular. I also listen to a lot of stuff downloaded off the internet.

I'm with you on this. Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, you name it, I hate it. In my opinion, rap is spelt with a silent 'c'.

Death Metal just makes my ears bleed. XP

Whoa he just dropped the N-Bomb..

Racism aside, I like *some* classical pieces from Mozart (namely Greensleeves and Turkish march as well as others I don't know the name of.)

Various songs from games.

There's good songs in every genre and shit songs in every genre so I don't really like any specific genre of music.

It's not that I don't like people who have a darker colour of the skin <_<;
It's just like most gangsta rappers are black and have thousands of dancing half-naked women in the videos alongside with "typical" elements.

I can't stand rap either although there was a time when it used to be good, in the early 90s. Even then I didn't like it much but there were a few songs that would make it in my playlist.
