OMG. I would love if there was a local multiplayer, but I understand how hard that can be.
Can you release a playable demo once you're able?
This is honestly a very creative idea.

This project is very old, and very dead.
Didn't Gamemanj make a working CS multiplayer, that also worked with mods? I seem to remember something about that.

Yes, but it's not very good. It basically just lets you see where the other players are and nothing else. Like, it won't even show you when they have a gun equipped. If they go into a teleporter they magically disappear, and they move at 3FPS anyway.
But, yes, because of the way it works it will work with mods, even WTF Story.


I've never played with that mod before, but based on your description of it, it sounds like something that might work really well for Cave Story races, unless you share progress with the other player(s)

No, WTF Story is a mod with a lot of assembly hacks in it, so what I'm saying is it's compatible with ASM.


I was referring to the Multiplayer mod, my mistake..
