Lol, you should make larger levels for King Quote's Adventure of Death christ.
I know it isn't really on the serious side, but at least it's for the sake of fun
and boredom. Funny Story kind of stretched out, but I thought the QA was much better.

Anyhow, good job on your starter mods Tricky. :p
My starter mods such as "Micheal Jackson Invades Mimiga Island"
and "Nate's Story" was no better than your starter mods.
Can't wait to see your more advanced mods later in the future.

This was fun. I like the idea of there being limited ammo to get through an area with.

It's too late. I started that mod back in November 2008,
I don't have it anymore. Besides, the mod was just a bunch
of dubs, and the doctor was re-colored to look like Micheal Jackson.
Trust me, it would have been boring to play.

Thanks on the part with the four bugs (Their name escapes me)

I've resorted to trying to rush in by getting hit once and using the invincibility to get to the door haven't gotten there yet

EDIT:
I've beat the game it was actually pretty easy

Question

I am still working on a mod but I do not know many things about modding. I`m using the search button all the time and I learn quite some. But is there a concise guide for modding in general? That would be nice and it`s not so hard to make it, even a YouTube tutorial.

I`m writing this cause not all of us is a computer genious. For example, I am 24 years old, passed every exam on medical faculty now, but I still spend some free time modding here.

So, I suggest that if there is no such a tutorial, please someone make it, there is a great need for it! I could and maybe will write a basic guide for beginners, but it`ll be more effective if someone else, a more experienced wrote it. It`s all about goodwill.

Best wishes, trickybilly

The best thing so far is this for TSC help, Cave Editor for an editor, MS Paint for image edits, this for map design help (and a few other things), this for sample scripts, and me for anything you need further help with. :3

Ps. Check the Cave Editor thread often. It gets updated occasionally.

Pps. Working on making this into one consistant guide. ;D

Thanks!

I have already view these things, but I am still thankful that you gathered them
all here. Really sorry for the late reply I was busy and I also waited to think what I exactly want to ask you the most. Meanwhile I completed my mod :) and will post it in a few minutes!

A hint

HINT: THE TRUE ENDING OF THE MOD COMES WITH A CONVERSATION- DO NOT BE DECEIVED WITH THE PREVIOUS EMPTY ROOM!

I made this comment `cause I realized that the room previous to the ending could really deceive that that is the last room in the game!

Well, that was rather anti-climatic...

Sorry, but, this just does not impress me. It's short, the grammar is pretty bad, the map design is rather poor, and, to be honest, I was expecting more than a simple, anti-climatic conversation.

In other words, it needs work and a lot of it.

Also, use the edit button, there really is no need to triple post.

iDisagree. Enemies are well-placed for the most part, and there are some good little jumping puzzles. I like the philamasophical ending :) The farm is called Yamashita though, the guy who runs it is Sandaime IIRC.

Meh, you're right. Save for the skeleton hoppers, it was pretty good. My only real beef was the ending. I dunno, maybe I was expecting a whole cutscene rather than a simple conversation.

Maybe if it literally ended after that I'd be happier. Still, not bad at all.

Hope to see more.

Colour - my new mod in the making. Screenshot

I know it`s not a big thing, and it may be ugly, but it made me happy. It`s for my new mod. It seems I`ll make it with SW again. I am more accustomed to it.

The heli will have wings when I finish...I import black-and white images as background for purpose, the energy meter and Quote too will be black and white too after spriting. Why? It`s part of the mod`s story. In every level more and more colour will be added.

More mod screenshots will come as I advance.

Now that looks pretty cool, is this a new mod project?
It looks like you're getting better at modding by each project.

Mod: Colour - more screenshots and progress

Experimenting with backgrounds again for my mod, Colour... And yeah, as the screenshot shows, part of the action will take place at Mirai gamer forums.

Experimenting with making music now, because there will be custom music in Colour! The progess is quite slow because I have a lot more to learn about modding, so there will be no demo until new year.

You will fight at Mirai gamer forums. Note: Quote "jumped" and not "floating" at the first screenshot. The floor is the bottom of the textbox.
