Minecraft

I've tried and it ended up not working

 

Yeah, I used to. But I decided I like regular Minecraft enough to leave it vanilla until there's full mod support.
I especially love the Aether Mod and IndustrialCraft, they both add a massive amount of content to an already content-rich game.
Now that the next update will make sure the multiplayer and single player actually use the same code instead of the entire game being written twice, with twice as many bugs (wtf Notch? I'm really glad Jens is in charge of Minecraft now), we will see most mods going full multiplayer, which is going to be amazing.

 

I like playing on server. Do you play on servers? Which is your favorite?
I play on Gold Mines (ip. Goldmines.pl), it needs a client.

 

I play one my friends' servers pretty much exclusively, except for the occasional Voxel Box open house days.

I used to play on Fab's server here, but I guess that doesn't happen anymore D:

 

My problem is I never find nice small time servers. The majority of servers I go on pass me by because I'm not there when I need to be, and I'll come back to find massive changes. Fab's server was nice in that the relatively small amount of people meant not a whole lot happened over a short period of time.

You don't actually need to buy the game, because you can still download the launcher and just play offline. From the official site and everything! There is no reason for you not to play.

Actually, you cant. Theres is a file called "lastlogin.lck" in .Minecraft folder. Its generated by logging in with a full account. If theres insn't one, the game wont launch!

 

That's odd, that's exactly what I did to play minecraft...
Maybe I had my friend log in first? I don't quite remember.

thats what one of my friends does. i don't know how you could share the account with people fighting over the character skin anyways.

 

That's easy: use first-person view

 

lol i guess so but if you were to play off a server you would look like that person.

 

Who cares what you look like when you're not on a server?
It's not like you see yourself too often
