Anyhow, I also mod, yay, like everyone else, and so here’s what this thread is about. A bit ago there was someone asking for people to co-op on modding, and I thought “Just exactly how bad can I make this?”
Well, here it is: The worst idea in the history of the idiotic rantings of CS modders (actually probably not):
Merge Story.
So, basically, I have a very-slightly edited copy of Cave Story here. A few sprites with the Infinite Mimiga Mask hack, then a bit of edited text at the beginning. Nothing really at all. So, I give that copy to the first person who asks for it. The hitch is this: They have 48 hours with it only. After that, if they don’t post a download for the next person, someone else gets it instead and the failing modder’s turn is considered void and them kinda rude.
So, post here and reserve a spot! The first interested person (which should be the first person to post, please stay on-topic) will get to use that download link down there, mod the game for 48 hours and then send it back here. The next person to ask for it gets the next turn!
Equitique: None. Feel freeeeee to edit anything anyone else has made. I mean, it’d be mean to utterly destroy it, but hey, if it’s for comedy’s sake then go for it. In fact, yes. Just brutalize everything, I don’t care and nobody else should, it's probably very funny.
