This classic arcade game by Namco is now being ported to Cave Story!
The mod is in Alpha stages right now, as I need a few ASM hacks to continue modding.​

Edit: I just played it, and was disappointed by the lack of content. You probably should have made more before releasing it.

I told you, this is Alpha. It's just a concept. I don't want to put lots of time and effort into it only to find that nobody has heard of/has a desire to play a game like this.

Ah yes, I remember when the original Mappy was released as a sub-alpha because its developers didn't want to put a lot of time or effort into it in case nobody wanted to play it. Right up there with Super Mario Bros, Final Fantasy, and Megaman 1.

The rusty age of video games, we called it.

There, I added sprites and what not. It's essentially done. There's just a few problems.

1) I don't know how to make a points system, I've never done it before.
2) I need the fan NPCs to only launch the player when the player contacts the area above the NPC.
3) I need the Enemy/Coron NPCs to be affected by the fan just as much as the player.

Well the Curly AI reacts to fans. What makes her react to fans but other NPCs ignore them?

I think this idea has amazing potential, mappy was always my favorite arcade game and already this mod is fun, even though it is very short. Also the radio has the inventory description of santa's key.

unless you're motivated to do so, and have the ability to do the majority of it on your own, don't work on 2 mods at the same time. From this sentence I see that you don't have the motivation, and from the end of the demo I see that you lack the ability. If you really want to go through with making something like this, you should devote like a few weeks to try to learn assembly.

I've actually wanted to do this mod for a long time, but unfortunately, Heaven and Hell's second iteration was less than satisfactory, so I'll be cutting out a huge chunk of the middle content and shortening the mod. This was a huge disappointment for me. Hence why I'm taking a break to make this short little thing.

When finished, there will be ten levels, with two bonus stages.

I would help with the assembly, but all assembly hacks by me where pretty much accidents. Like, 1/2 of them. I'll look into it.

I've already finished the main theme and I'm working on the Bonus Stage track.
