Some kind of system for users to mark posts of value would be cool.
Like the rating system, but per-post.

One thing to note is that while the Rep System is removed, the Infractions System is still turned on. I think this could prove to be useful.

There's actually a better system called 'Thanks' I think. Which works how it sounds, if a post helps you out in anyway you can simply thank the person for the post. Unlike the rep system is has no negative side, besides maybe people bragging about having more posts thanked than another person. (Which would be beyond stupid.)

Though it's something that would have to be added on by either Thomas or Shiro.

This sounds neat. I kinda liked how the rep system let you show appreciation for a post, but the whole "public rating" thing left me with a bad taste, so to speak.

I wasn't aware that it this was turned off in the first place, because I hadn't actually infracted/warned anyone until a couple of days ago >_____>; "Add Infraction for _____" had been there the whole time as far as I've noticed, but then I didn't really pay attention.

Kind of like them recording your warnings. Everything you do wrong that they put in is worth so many points. Once your infractions get so high, it'll auto-ban you.

Now, over time, most infractions will wear off, and won't be worth points anymore, but serious infractions worth many points will either not wear off completely (still be worth SOME points, albeit lower), or even not at all.

...I don't like the sound of this. I'd rather decide on bans myself rather than have an automated system do it for me, and I think the other admodistrators will feel the same. I mean I can probably go in and adjust it manually if necessary, but that's just more busy work.

But you are not an Admin...

 

What does being an Admin have to do with it? Mods and Admins can give out infractions, in fact the system can be changed where normal members can give out infractions.
