Please make a very simple draft for 2d game. The most basic stuff: creating window, making jumping ball animation, beeping noise. The most simple stuff is the most important.
Why am I asking here. Cave Story is the best game in this aspect I've meet so far. It doesn't use hardware acceliration, it uses custom graphic and music formats, it works everywhere! I'm tempted to just open it in debugger, but I sure I'll get stuck very quickly again on nothing, so I'm asking you guys for that.
Yes, and please make it that it works on raw winapi. Because it will make it simplier for me to understand in debugger! Compilers always add something weird and havy, without explaining what is it and why I need it. And nobody cares. They call it runtime something library.
So, do it for me, ok? Please?

Yeah, and it uses DirectDraw 7, if I remember correctly. Do I? So, where can I get documentation for it?
By the way, SDL sucks. Also known as I Don't Get It's Source Code. I tried, honestly. And OpenGL. And GameMaker. And That One API I Forgot Name Of.
