Damn, this reminds me of Cave Story for obvious reasons and it looks great. Can't wait to play it.

I noticed that there are more cat enemies than usual.

 

Seems interesting however, the fact that it is an iPhone/Pod game puts me off. I've never been a fan of those on-screen controls, it is very awkward and if you have big hands then it can block the screen.

eeaacctually, I'm like 80% sure Gero is like, either meaning "frog" or a corruption of the word that does
and who do we know that's a frog and wears a necktie?
And their white cat friend in a blue dress?

Gero/kero means "ribbit" afaik.

0:10 in the trailer, the planet looks like the little planet from Sonic CD.

 

The gun icon and hearts remind me of the Cave Story Beta.

It's coming to other platforms as well. At the very least, it's for 3ds or something.

This looks pretty interesting. Good to see Pixel get right back on his feet after discontinuing Rockfish

 

The trailer looks amazing, I really hope this comes out on some platform that I have or have access to >: It's been too long since I got to sink my teeth into some full-length computerdot goodness.

 

Wait a second, Dr. Gero, a frog, is killing cats? Er... but, but, a cat even kissed him for more health, is that cat a traitor?

 

I try not to question pixel logic, i hear bad things could happen.

Maybe theres a war between cats vs cats? idk.

 

It's almost silly how much this looks like Cave Story.
Anyways it's kinda cool to see a game made with his comic's characters, I hope it hits other platforms because iOS touchscreen buttons are terribad.

Tyrone posted a mockup on his twitter account... Either he is planning on it or he is just getting everybody's hopes up(most likely the latter).

 

I seriously doubt that this won't get a port to 3DS and Wii U

 

Yeah... They just asked on their twitter if people want this on 3DS/Vita. Seriously, I think they ask the most rhetorical questions.

Uh, looks enjoyable enough a game, but I've gotta say I always thought those comics were well... not good at all.

 

That was the point of them, really. To be mundane and simple
